Contemporary Cream Boucle Dark Wood Lounge Chair

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge chair features a cream boucle upholstered seat and backrest supported by a dark wood frame. This armless lounge chair displays a distinct contemporary aesthetic defined by its contrasting textures and clean lines. The seat and backrest are heavily padded and upholstered in a tactile, cream-coloured boucle fabric, providing a soft, rounded silhouette. These upholstered components are anchored by a dark-stained timber frame that extends vertically to support the backrest and forms a stable base. The proportions are low-slung, prioritising comfort and a relaxed posture. The minimalist design relies on the interplay between the textured textile and the deep-toned wood to create visual interest in a room.

The download is a 15 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the texture maps for the boucle fabric are correctly mapped to maintain the scale of the weave. The chair is provided as a single object, allowing for straightforward placement within interior renders. Users should check the pivot point upon import to facilitate easy positioning on floor surfaces. Adjust the material reflectivity and bump settings to enhance the depth of the fabric and the wood grain under specific lighting conditions, such as warm interior lamps.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or quiet reading nooks, this lounge chair serves as a versatile accent piece. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables or in clusters around a low coffee table. Professionals searching for modern seating solutions will find this piece useful for establishing a sophisticated, comfortable atmosphere. It integrates well into neutral-toned interiors where texture is used to define space, making it a reliable choice for high-end residential projects and refined commercial waiting areas.
