Organic White Plaster Sculptural Lighting Columns Set

This pair of organic, parametric lighting columns in SketchUp features integrated LED uplighting within a smooth plaster finish. These sculptural columns feature an organic, flared top reminiscent of floral or tree forms, transitioning from a slender cylindrical base to a wide, petal-like canopy. The smooth, seamless white plaster finish creates a minimalist aesthetic, while the integrated lighting profile hidden within the curved edges provides a soft, diffused ambient glow. The two columns vary slightly in their geometry, offering a balanced yet asymmetrical appearance suitable for high-end interior spaces. This set is designed as a singular architectural feature, combining structural presence with functional illumination to define spatial volumes.

The download is a 15.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these components are best managed as grouped geometry to facilitate easy placement and scaling within your model. Utilize the native layer or tag system to separate the structural plaster elements from the light-emitting surfaces, allowing for efficient material assignment. When rendering, apply a high-intensity emissive material to the light-path channels to simulate the integrated LED effect. Ensure your model's lighting environment is set to a low exposure to accurately capture the subtle diffusion cast onto surrounding surfaces.
