About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a cream boucle curved sectional sofa with an organic silhouette and integrated decorative cushions. Defined by its fluid, kidney-bean-inspired geometry, this contemporary sectional sofa prioritises soft, rounded lines over traditional rigid framing. The piece is upholstered in a textured cream boucle fabric, providing a tactile, high-end finish that complements the low-profile backrest. It includes a set of three decorative cushions in contrasting neutral tones, along with a folded throw blanket draped over one end. The base is completely concealed, creating a floating aesthetic that anchors spacious layouts. Proportionally balanced for comfort and visual interest, the design seamlessly integrates a small rear-facing shelf element for minimal display.

The download is an 8.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, ensure the model is placed on a clean floor plane to maintain the floating effect of its base. The fabric texture is mapped as a high-resolution material, allowing for adjustment of tiling scales to match specific render requirements. Utilize the included cushions as separate objects to allow for flexible staging within your scene. Always verify that the pivot point is set to the base center for efficient rotation and placement against curved or linear walls.

This piece is ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive lounge areas where a sophisticated, organic aesthetic is desired. It pairs effectively with low-slung coffee tables and textured area rugs to create a cohesive conversation zone. Architects and interior designers searching for statement seating or curved lounge furniture will find this model useful for modern residential projects, luxury hospitality fit-outs, or open-plan commercial reception spaces where soft, welcoming forms are essential for defining the overall spatial flow.
