Contemporary Clear Glass Work Desk with Black Wire Base

This contemporary work desk SketchUp model features a clear glass top supported by a geometric black wire-frame metal base. The desk comprises a rectangular tempered glass surface resting on two distinct, angular wire-frame metal bases in a matte black finish. The open, airy construction provides a lightweight visual profile, making it suitable for compact home offices or studio spaces. This set includes a matching black office chair with a swivel base and a small rectangular planter containing indoor plants, alongside a desktop computer monitor, keyboard, and mouse. The materials are defined by the contrast between the transparent, reflective glass and the sharp, linear geometry of the black powder-coated metal legs.

The download is a 1.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into distinct components for the desk, chair, and accessories, allowing for easy placement and individual manipulation. Users can modify the material properties of the glass or metal components via the materials panel to match specific interior schemes. The geometry is clean and lightweight, ensuring efficient viewport navigation. It is recommended to place this asset on a dedicated layer to manage visibility when working in larger architectural scenes or complex interior floor plans.

This work desk is ideal for residential home office setups, creative studio visualisations, or modern apartment staging. It pairs well with minimalist decor or industrial-style interiors where transparency and geometric shapes are desired. Professionals searching for a sleek study desk or a contemporary workstation for high-end residential projects will find this model useful. It fits seamlessly into small-scale interiors where a bulky traditional desk would overwhelm the space, providing a clean, professional aesthetic for both digital renders and architectural presentations.
