Contemporary Charcoal Kitchen Island with Integrated Wine Rack

This contemporary 3ds Max kitchen island set features a charcoal finish, integrated wine storage, and three matching bar stools. This kitchen island unit presents a clean, linear aesthetic defined by its dark charcoal finish and functional design. The island structure incorporates an open-grid wine rack on one side, providing dedicated storage for bottles. The worktop is expansive and minimalist, offering a clean surface for preparation or casual dining. Accompanying the island are three dark-toned wooden bar stools with slender metal legs, maintaining a cohesive look. Five thin, cylindrical pendant lights are suspended above the island, providing a vertical element that balances the horizontal mass of the main unit.

The download is a 6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement and adjustment of the individual components. The pendant lights and stools are separate objects, facilitating precise positioning within a scene. Users should check the pivot points for the stools and lights to ensure accurate alignment with floor levels and ceiling heights. Materials are applied using standard mapping, which can be easily adjusted or replaced to match specific project requirements during the final rendering setup.

Ideal for residential kitchen designs, this island set works well in open-plan living areas where the kitchen acts as a social hub. It is suitable for high-end apartment projects, modern loft renovations, or boutique cafe interiors requiring a compact, integrated bar solution. Designers often search for these units when specifying functional yet stylish kitchen joinery that includes seating. The neutral charcoal tone pairs effectively with marble, timber, or concrete finishes, making it a versatile addition to various contemporary interior design schemes.
