About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a charcoal fabric upholstered bed with low-profile integrated side panels. This contemporary bed unit is defined by its low-profile frame and extensive, integrated side panels that extend horizontally from the headboard area, creating a cohesive, architectural statement. The entire structure, including the base, headboard, and side extensions, is finished in a textured charcoal fabric. The headboard consists of two distinct, rectangular sections with a subtle geometric pattern, providing a tactile contrast to the smooth, minimalist base. Included in the set are several decorative cushions, which introduce varied grey and neutral tones to the composition, enhancing the layered, soft aesthetic of the sleeping area.

The download is a 96.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, ensure the model is scaled correctly to your scene units before merging into your master file. The assets are organised by logical naming conventions, allowing for easy selection of the bed frame and individual cushion components. Apply your preferred fabric shaders to the base and headboard meshes to achieve the desired level of realism. Use standard lighting setups, such as a V-Ray or Corona light portal, to highlight the subtle texture of the charcoal upholstery and the depth of the cushions.

This bed is suitable for high-end residential master bedrooms and luxury hotel suites where a minimalist yet substantial furniture piece is required. It pairs well with contemporary bedside lighting, such as wall-mounted sconces, and sleek, low-level storage units. Professionals looking for a modern, cohesive bedroom solution will find this model useful for architectural visualisations, interior design project presentations, and high-fidelity 3D renders. Its neutral palette allows for versatile integration into various colour schemes, from monochromatic interiors to spaces with warm, natural wood accents.
