Contemporary Charcoal Fabric Upholstered Armchair, Single Seat

This contemporary 3ds Max model of a charcoal fabric armchair features a distinctively gathered, soft-upholstered shell and four tapered legs. The armchair exhibits a contemporary aesthetic defined by its deep, wrap-around seating shell. The upholstery is finished in a dark charcoal fabric with pronounced gathering and organic folds, suggesting a soft, plush internal padding. Its form is compact yet inviting, with integrated armrests that curve gently into the backrest. The base consists of four simple, cylindrical legs that provide a clean, understated foundation for the heavily textured seat. The overall proportions are balanced for lounge comfort, making it a versatile piece for various interior design schemes requiring a soft, tactile seating element.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured for efficient integration into interior scenes. Users can easily append the asset into an existing project file while maintaining its pivot point at the base for accurate floor placement. The material slots are assigned to the fabric and leg components, allowing for quick adjustments to the fabric shader or base colour to suit specific design palettes. High-quality lighting setups will effectively highlight the complex folding details of the fabric, enhancing the sense of realism within the final rendered environment.
