About this asset

This contemporary charcoal fabric L-shaped sectional sofa, modelled for 3ds Max, features a distinctive integrated leather side shelf. This modular sectional sofa features a deep charcoal fabric upholstery with vertical channel-stitched detailing across the seat and backrest. The design incorporates an L-shaped configuration with a low profile and clean, linear proportions. A notable feature is the cantilevered leather-clad shelf attached to the end of the chaise, providing a functional surface for small items. The unit is complemented by an assortment of scatter cushions in contrasting green, cream, and navy tones, adding visual depth to the dark textile base. The entire assembly rests on minimal, low-profile dark metal supports.

The download is a 90.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can merge this 3ds Max model directly into their scene, ensuring the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for easy placement on floor planes. The geometry is organised into logical layers, allowing for the independent selection of the sofa body, cushions, and the leather shelf component. Material slots are pre-assigned, facilitating quick adjustments to fabric textures or leather finishes using the native material editor. Ensure correct scale by checking the model against standard seat height dimensions during initial placement.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, this sectional sofa provides a sophisticated focal point for open-plan layouts or media rooms. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables and large-scale area rugs to define a conversation zone. Designers searching for modern lounge furniture, modular seating, or contemporary sectional sofas will find this asset versatile for various interior schemes. It is suitable for use in architectural visualisations for luxury apartments, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive lounge areas where a clean, tailored aesthetic is required.
