Contemporary Burgundy Velvet Metal Bar Stool

This contemporary 3ds Max bar stool features a rich burgundy velvet seat atop a sleek, minimalist brushed metal pedestal base. Defined by its clean, geometric silhouette, this bar stool pairs a plush, circular burgundy velvet seat with a structural metal frame. The base consists of a circular floor plate supporting a central vertical column, intersected by a slender cross-bar footrest. The proportions are balanced, offering a refined aesthetic suitable for modern interiors. The velvet upholstery provides a soft texture that contrasts with the rigid, metallic finish of the frame. The design is compact and stable, focusing on a minimalist approach to high-seat furniture, ideal for kitchen islands or elevated bar counters.

The download is a 21.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single object with clearly defined material IDs for the upholstery and metal components. Users should apply appropriate reflection and glossiness maps to the metal to achieve a realistic brushed finish. The seat cushion geometry is optimised for standard subdivision modifiers, allowing for smooth surfaces without excessive polygon counts. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the floor plate for straightforward placement and rotation within your interior scene setup.

This bar stool is a versatile addition to high-end residential kitchen islands, boutique hotel bars, and contemporary cafe seating areas.
