Contemporary Brown Wood and Rattan Lounge Chair Scene

This contemporary SketchUp lounge chair scene features a curved wood and rattan chair, two log-style side tables, and a hide rug. This furniture grouping centres on a lounge chair featuring a curved timber frame and a woven rattan seat. The design is complemented by two natural-edge log side tables of varying heights, creating an organic, layered aesthetic. The set is grounded by a hide-style rug, adding texture to the composition. A decorative vase with dried botanicals sits atop the larger table, while slender metal sculptures provide additional detail. The materials contrast the smooth, dark-stained timber of the chair frame with the raw, textured finish of the wood logs and the intricate weave of the rattan.

The download is a 6.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

As a SketchUp component, this scene is structured for efficient placement within interior projects. Users can import the entire collection as a single block or explode the component to reposition the individual pieces. The materials are mapped for standard rendering workflows, allowing for quick adjustments to reflections or bump maps. Ensure the object is placed on a dedicated layer to manage scene complexity and maintain performance when integrating these assets into larger residential or commercial architectural models or detailed visualisation environments.

This lounge set is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or relaxed reading nooks in contemporary office spaces. The organic materials and warm tones pair effectively with minimalist or mid-century interior schemes. Professionals looking for natural accents will find this set useful for staging vignettes that require a sense of warmth and texture. It is a versatile choice for designers seeking to add character to lounge areas without overwhelming the surrounding space with heavy, solid-upholstered furniture pieces.
