About this asset

This SketchUp model features a pair of contemporary indoor plants comprising an olive tree and a broadleaf specimen in planters. This set includes two distinct potted plants suitable for interior styling. The primary feature is a medium-sized olive tree with slender, textured branches and fine foliage, housed in a rounded, wood-effect planter filled with decorative white pebbles. Beside it stands a broadleaf plant with vibrant, wide green leaves growing from a clean, cylindrical white ceramic pot. The proportions are balanced for residential or commercial interior spaces, providing a natural contrast between the delicate, airy structure of the olive tree and the bold, solid forms of the broadleaf foliage.

The download is a 77.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate these plants into a SketchUp scene, import the component and utilise the scale tool to adjust dimensions relative to your interior floor plan. The models are organised with separate layers for foliage and containers, allowing for easy material overrides or texture adjustments if needed. Ensure the pivot points are correctly set at the base of the pots for efficient placement on floor surfaces, and consider using a proxy if performance becomes an issue in complex, high-poly architectural visualisations.

These plants are ideal for adding life to minimalist, scandinavian, or contemporary interior designs. They work effectively in living rooms, hotel lobbies, or modern office breakout areas to soften harsh architectural lines. Designers frequently use these assets to fill empty corners, flank console tables, or provide visual interest near windows. Search for these by using terms like indoor greenery, botanical decor, or potted plants to find similar high-quality assets for your next residential or commercial project visualisation.
