About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a set of two abstract ribbon-style wall sculptures finished in a polished brown metallic tone. Comprising two identical rectangular black wall panels, each piece features a central sculptural element resembling a folded, flowing ribbon. The ribbons possess a high-gloss, reflective brown finish that contrasts sharply with the matte black backing. The form is fluid and organic, creating a sense of movement through sharp folds and sweeping curves. These pieces are designed to be mounted as a pair, providing a balanced, symmetrical focal point for interior wall surfaces. The construction is clean, focusing on the interplay between the reflective metallic surfaces and the dark, recessed backgrounds.

The download is a 3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this asset into a SketchUp scene, import the component and position it against the desired wall face. Ensure the wall panels are flush with the surface to avoid Z-fighting. The geometry is grouped for easy manipulation, allowing users to adjust the scale or orientation of the pair as needed. Apply custom reflective materials to the ribbon surfaces to enhance the metallic appearance within your chosen render engine, and use the native layer system to manage visibility during the design development phase.

These sculptural panels are well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or modern office reception areas. They function effectively as statement pieces above console tables or as part of a larger gallery wall arrangement in luxury interior projects. Professionals often search for this type of abstract wall art when looking to add texture and a sophisticated metallic element to a room's composition. They pair effectively with minimalist furniture and neutral palettes, helping to define a contemporary aesthetic in both professional and domestic settings.
