About this asset

This contemporary brown leather bench, designed as a 3ds Max model, features a clean-lined, tufted upholstery and a solid base. This rectangular bench features a sophisticated tufted upholstery in a rich brown leather finish, providing a clean, structured appearance suitable for modern interiors. The design is defined by its minimalist profile, sitting atop a dark-toned, solid wood plinth that offers a subtle visual contrast to the plush seat. The tufting adds a tactile quality to the surface, breaking up the expanse of leather with precise, rhythmic seams. Its proportions are elongated, making it an ideal choice for placement at the foot of a bed, in a hallway, or as additional seating in a lounge area.

The download is an 8.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this bench is structured with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection and manipulation within the scene. Users can adjust the leather texture mapping to match specific project requirements or modify the base material if a different wood finish is desired. The model is scaled for standard architectural use, ensuring it integrates seamlessly into interior scenes without excessive adjustment. It is best placed using object snapping to align the base accurately with floor geometry or custom joinery units for a clean finish.

The bench is well-suited for high-end residential bedrooms, luxury hotel suites, or professional office reception areas where a refined seating solution is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist interior design schemes, acting as a functional accent piece that does not overwhelm the space. Designers often search for this type of asset when specifying furniture for walk-in wardrobes, dressing rooms, or as a secondary seating element in a living room, where it provides a balance between comfort and clean, architectural lines.
