Contemporary Brown Leather Metal Frame Lounge Chair

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge chair features a brown leather seat shell supported by a slender, angular metal frame structure. Defined by its distinct shell form, this lounge chair combines a soft, worn-in brown leather upholstery with a rigid, industrial-inspired metal frame. The seat bucket curves gently to provide ergonomic support, while the rear support structure consists of two flat, triangular plates that contrast with the thin, tubular front legs. This juxtaposition of delicate front support and substantial rear bracing creates a unique silhouette. The leather finish shows subtle texture and depth, suggesting a high-quality material choice that anchors the piece as a focal point within any modern interior setting.

The download is a 10.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max project, merge the file into your scene and ensure the unit scale is consistent with your global settings. The model is typically organised by object components, allowing for easy material assignment or modification if required. Use standard viewport shading to verify geometry before applying textures. For optimal results in final renders, ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base of the chair for straightforward placement on floor planes or room surfaces.

This lounge chair is ideal for contemporary residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or high-end office reception areas. Its compact footprint makes it a versatile choice for accent seating in corners or as part of a larger conversation group. Designers often pair this piece with minimalist coffee tables or low-profile side tables to highlight its sculptural form. It works particularly well in spaces that require a balance between industrial edge and comfortable, tactile materials, effectively serving as a sophisticated statement piece in diverse interior design schemes.
