Contemporary Brown Leather Lounge Chair with Metal Base

This contemporary lounge chair is a SketchUp model featuring a brown leather shell supported by a slender cross-style metal base. This lounge chair features a distinctive, sculpted shell upholstered in dark brown leather with visible panel detailing along the backrest. The form is ergonomic, with a low-slung, reclined profile that emphasizes comfort and clean, modern lines. It rests on a lightweight, four-legged metal frame that provides a stable foundation while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic. The contrast between the rich, textured leather and the metallic finish of the base creates a sophisticated look suitable for a variety of interior styles, from mid-century modern to contemporary office or residential lounge spaces.

The download is a 13.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is best managed as a nested group or component to maintain model cleanliness. Users should verify the scale upon insertion to ensure it aligns with standard seating height requirements. The textures are applied to the geometry, allowing for easy material replacement or adjustment within the materials panel. For rendering workflows, ensure that the metal base is assigned appropriate reflection properties, while the leather material can be enhanced with bump or normal maps to highlight its subtle surface grain.

Ideal for residential living rooms, executive offices, or hotel lobby seating areas, this lounge chair serves as a functional accent piece. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables or as part of a dedicated reading nook. Professionals searching for modern accent seating or comfortable lounge furniture will find this asset versatile for various project stages, from early conceptual visualizations to detailed interior design presentations. Its neutral yet refined palette allows it to integrate seamlessly into diverse interior design schemes and professional environments.
