About this asset

This contemporary brown leather armchair for 3ds Max features a sleek tubular chrome frame and distinct channel-tufted seat cushions. Defined by its industrial-inspired aesthetic, this armchair features a continuous tubular metal frame finished in polished chrome. The seating is composed of deep-brown leather cushions, displaying a channel-tufted surface treatment that adds texture and visual depth. The armrests are integrated into the frame, topped with matching leather padding for comfort. The proportions are compact yet supportive, balancing the rigid, geometric nature of the steel structure with the soft, worn-in appearance of the leather upholstery. The backrest and seat are unified by a clean, minimalist silhouette, making it a versatile piece for modern interiors.

The download is a 40 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into 3ds Max, merge the file into your scene using the asset browser or import menu. The model is organised by logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the chrome frame separate from the leather upholstery. Apply your preferred materials to the leather elements to adjust the glossiness or bump maps to suit your specific lighting environment. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the frame for efficient placement on floor surfaces within your interior renders.
