Contemporary Brown Leather Armchair with Slim Metal Legs

This contemporary brown leather armchair, modelled for 3ds Max, features a distinctive flared armrest profile and slender metal legs. Defined by its clean, contemporary silhouette, this armchair features a deep, comfortable seat cushion and a backrest that integrates seamlessly into sweeping, flared armrests. The upholstery is rendered in a rich brown leather with subtle natural grain detailing and soft folds that suggest a supple, high-quality finish. The structure is supported by a minimalist metal frame with thin, tapered legs that provide a light, elevated aesthetic. The proportions are balanced to offer ergonomic support, making it a sophisticated choice for lounge areas where both visual comfort and structural elegance are required.

The download is a 38.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When incorporating this 3ds Max asset into your scene, ensure the model is placed on the floor plane and checked for scale consistency against standard anthropometric data. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy material adjustments or texture swaps if a different leather finish is desired. Use the provided object layers to manage the upholstery and frame components independently. To achieve realistic lighting, apply a soft HDRI environment map to capture the subtle highlights on the curved leather surfaces and the metallic leg finish.
