About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge scene features a brown fabric chair, a white side table, a floor lamp, a rug, and a potted plant. This curated lounge scene is composed of a tufted, low-profile brown fabric armchair with a deep-seated, ergonomic form. Complementing the seating is a minimalist white circular side table on a slender base and a sleek, black-and-gold articulated floor lamp. The arrangement sits atop a textured, off-white fringed rug, grounding the ensemble. A large, leafy potted plant in a neutral vessel adds a vertical organic element, balancing the composition. Each piece exhibits clean lines and a cohesive contemporary aesthetic, providing a complete, ready-to-use vignette for interior architectural visualisations.

The download is a 173 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

For integration into 3ds Max projects, users should merge the scene file directly into the master scene to maintain object relationships and pivot points. The assets are organised by layer, allowing for easy selection or hiding of individual elements like the plant or lighting. Materials are pre-assigned and ready for standard render engine workflows. Ensure that the scale is verified against the project units before placement, as minor adjustments to the floor lamp orientation or rug positioning may be required to suit specific floor plans.

This lounge vignette is ideal for populated residential interior visualisations, specifically for living room corners, reading nooks, or hotel lobby lounge areas. It provides a quick solution for adding detail to architectural scenes without sourcing individual components. Designers often use such sets to demonstrate scale and comfort in early design development or final presentation renders. It pairs well with modern interior styles and can be easily adapted by swapping textures or adjusting the arrangement to fit tighter urban apartment layouts.
