About this asset

This contemporary armchair for 3ds Max features a sleek black metal frame with contrasting brown and beige fabric upholstery. Defined by a minimalist silhouette, this single-seat chair combines a slender, powder-coated black metal frame with soft, upholstered elements. The design features a floating-style backrest panel in a deep brown fabric, providing lumbar support, paired with a thicker, beige textured fabric seat cushion. The frame wraps around the back and extends into subtle armrests, creating a cohesive, lightweight profile. Its proportions are compact, making it suitable for smaller dining areas or as an accent piece in a modern study. The contrast between the dark frame and the dual-tone textile finish adds visual depth.

The download is a 3.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset arrives as a single, clean mesh object ready for scene integration. Users should check the material editor to ensure the fabric textures are correctly mapped, as the seat and backrest use distinct materials. The model is scaled for standard seating height; however, it is recommended to verify alignment with your specific table or desk height upon insertion. Use standard light sources to highlight the texture variations between the seat and backrest fabrics for a realistic final render output.

Ideal for residential dining rooms, boutique hotel cafes, or casual lobby seating, this chair brings a balanced, modern aesthetic to any interior scheme. It pairs effectively with glass or light wood dining tables, where the black frame can provide a necessary visual anchor. Professionals searching for slim-profile seating or accent chairs for contemporary project stages will find this a versatile addition to their library. It works particularly well in spaces where clear lines and uncluttered floor plans are prioritized for a clean, professional look.
