About this asset

This contemporary modular sectional sofa is a 3ds Max model featuring soft blush leather upholstery and contrasting grey scatter cushions. Defined by rounded edges and a low-profile silhouette, this modular sectional sofa prioritises comfort through its plush, cushioned form. The main structure is finished in a soft blush-toned leather, providing a smooth, uniform texture across the seat and backrest components. The set includes three distinct decorative cushions: two in a solid grey fabric and one featuring a subtle horizontal stripe pattern. Its modular construction allows for flexible arrangement, making it a versatile seating solution for modern living spaces that require a balance between structured form and relaxed, approachable aesthetics.

The download is a 21.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file into your master project file. Ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned with the floor plane for easy placement. Check the material library to confirm that the leather and fabric textures are mapped correctly to the geometry. Using a standard render setup, apply a subtle bump map to the leather surfaces to enhance the realism of the upholstery seams and natural grain during the final rendering process.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, and upscale lounge areas, this sofa serves as a primary focal point in contemporary interior designs. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables and textured area rugs to create a cohesive seating group. Designers often search for soft-form modular furniture when planning open-plan layouts or relaxed breakout spaces. Its neutral blush palette ensures it complements a wide range of interior colour schemes, from monochrome greys to warmer, earthy tones in modern residential projects.
