Contemporary Blue Velvet 2-Seater Sofa with Integrated Lamps

This contemporary 2-seater sofa in blue velvet is a 3ds Max model featuring integrated metallic reading lamps and two accent cushions. Defined by its clean, boxy silhouette, this 2-seater sofa features deep blue velvet upholstery with visible texture and soft, lived-in cushioning. The frame is supported by low-profile, dark-finished feet. A standout design detail is the pair of slender, adjustable metal reading lamps attached to the rear of the frame, finished in a warm metallic tone. The seating arrangement includes one leather accent cushion in a rich brown and one matching velvet cushion, providing a subtle contrast in material and tone. The proportions are balanced, making it a versatile piece for compact lounge areas.

The download is a 24.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When using this 3ds Max file, ensure the model is merged into your scene at the correct scale to maintain proper proportions. The upholstery uses high-resolution texture maps, so check that your UV mapping coordinates are correctly aligned upon import. The attached lamp elements are likely grouped or parented to the main sofa object; you may need to adjust their pivot points if you intend to rotate them for specific compositions. Use standard light emitters for the lamp heads to achieve realistic illumination.
