About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater sofa set, modelled in 3ds Max, features a bold blue frame with a geometric patterned fabric seating area. The sofa features a clean-lined blue frame with integrated armrests and two cylindrical bolster cushions. The seat and back cushions are upholstered in a contrasting white and black geometric fabric pattern. The set is presented as a complete lounge arrangement, including a two-tier coffee table with a black glass top and a grey marble base, a circular side table with a gold-finished pedestal, a circular high-pile rug, and a framed wall art piece. The composition is balanced by a sleek black floor lamp, providing a cohesive look for modern interior design applications.

The download is a 57 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy selection of the sofa, tables, and accessories. Users can adjust the fabric tiling on the cushions using standard UVW mapping modifiers to suit specific scale requirements. The metal and marble materials are defined with appropriate reflection and glossiness maps, allowing for quick integration into interior scenes. The asset is designed to be merged directly into a project file, with pivot points positioned at the base for efficient placement on floor surfaces.

This set is ideal for staging high-end residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or boutique lounge areas. It works well in contemporary or transitional interior schemes where a statement piece is needed to anchor a seating group. Designers often search for complete furniture clusters to expedite the visualisation process for client presentations and marketing imagery. Pair this sofa with minimalist wall treatments or neutral backdrops to allow the geometric fabric and blue upholstery to serve as the primary visual focus of the space.
