About this asset

This contemporary lounge chair and ottoman set for SketchUp features blue fabric upholstery, dark wood shells, and grey metal frames. This lounge chair and ottoman set exhibits a contemporary aesthetic defined by soft, organic curves and a distinct shell construction. Both pieces feature deep blue fabric upholstery over a dark-toned wood backing, supported by slim, angled grey metal legs. The chair includes a small, checkered scatter cushion for added detail. The design prioritises ergonomic comfort through its reclined posture and low-profile silhouette. The set is presented as a cohesive unit, ideal for creating a relaxed seating nook within a larger interior space, balancing textural warmth with a modern, industrial-leaning frame structure.

The download is a 24.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this set is organised into groups for the chair and ottoman, allowing for easy placement and rotation within your model. The materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily swapped or adjusted in the materials panel to match your specific project palette. Ensure the model is placed on a level surface, and use the scale tool if necessary to match your interior dimensions before applying your preferred render engine settings for final visualisation.

This set is perfectly suited for modern residential living rooms, hotel lobby lounge areas, or quiet reading corners in a library. It pairs well with minimalist side tables, patterned rugs, and soft ambient lighting to create a comfortable focal point. Professionals should search for terms like upholstered armchair, footstool, accent seating, or modern lounge furniture to integrate this asset into their design schemes. It is a versatile choice for both conceptual stages and final presentation renders of high-end interior projects.
