About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp dining chair set features two upholstered seats with distinct vertical piping details and dark tapered legs. These dining chairs exhibit a clean, contemporary profile defined by a high, slightly tapered backrest and a minimalist seat base. The upholstery is finished in a choice of muted blue or soft grey fabric, accented by a contrasting vertical piping detail that runs from the top of the backrest down to the seat edge. The frame is supported by four slim, tapered metal legs finished in a dark brown tone, providing a stable yet slender silhouette. The overall aesthetic is refined and balanced, suitable for modern dining environments requiring subtle texture and colour.

The download is a 23.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, these chairs are organised as components for efficient scene management. Users can easily toggle between the blue and grey colour variants by swapping material instances or utilizing layers. The geometry is clean, allowing for quick placement into dining room models. When rendering, apply sub-division or smoothing modifiers if necessary, and ensure the metal leg texture is mapped with appropriate reflection settings to capture the intended finish of the dark brown supports.

Ideal for residential dining rooms, high-end restaurant interiors, or boutique hotel breakfast areas, these chairs offer a versatile seating solution. They pair well with minimalist timber or glass dining tables, acting as a soft focal point in neutral spaces. Architects and interior designers often search for these when specifying modern dining sets that require both comfort and a slim profile. Their understated design makes them suitable for various project stages, from initial concept visualisations to final high-fidelity interior render packages.
