Contemporary Black Wood Three-Legged Bar Stool

This contemporary 3ds Max bar stool features a black-stained wood construction with a three-legged base and integrated metal footrest. This minimalist bar stool is defined by its clean, sculptural silhouette and stark black finish. The seat is circular with a subtly dished profile, supported by three tapered legs that splay outwards for stability. A thin, geometric metal footrest connects the legs, providing both structural reinforcement and a refined contrast to the timber frame. The wood grain remains visible through the matte black stain, adding texture to the otherwise smooth, modern aesthetic. Its compact footprint and balanced proportions make it a versatile seating option for high-top tables, breakfast bars, or commercial counter arrangements.

The download is a 20.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max project, users should merge the file into the active scene and verify the scale against standard counter heights. The asset is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy adjustment of the wood and metal material properties. Users can apply custom shaders or adjust the reflection parameters on the metal footrest to match the specific lighting environment of the interior render, ensuring a seamless blend with other furniture assets.

Ideal for high-end residential kitchen islands, boutique cafe fit-outs, or hotel bar areas, this stool complements minimalist and contemporary interior design schemes. It pairs effectively with stone or timber breakfast bars and works well in projects requiring a sleek, unobtrusive seating profile. Professionals often search for this type of asset when specifying modern bar furniture, counter seating, or minimalist kitchen accessories. The stool's neutral palette ensures it integrates easily into diverse colour schemes, from monochromatic industrial spaces to warm, wood-toned interiors.
