Contemporary Black Wood 4-Seater Dining Set – Variant 2

This contemporary 4-seater dining set in 3ds Max features a round black wood table and four matching chairs with upholstered seats. The set comprises a circular dining table with a tapered leg base and four matching chairs, all finished in a deep matte black. Each chair features a curved, ergonomic backrest that wraps around the sitter, supported by slender, angled legs. The seat pads are upholstered in a dark, smooth material, contrasting subtly with the solid wood frame. The table surface is clean and minimalist, complemented by the unified design language of the chairs. This collection provides a cohesive, understated aesthetic suitable for modern interior compositions where clean lines and dark monochromatic tones are required.

The download is a 7.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this set into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file into your project and ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base for easy placement. The materials are structured for standard shader setups; check the texture paths upon import to ensure the wood grain and upholstery maps render correctly. You may need to adjust the light intensity if the black surfaces appear too dark in your lighting environment, using a soft global illumination setup to reveal the subtle details of the chair forms.

This dining set is ideal for compact residential dining rooms, boutique café interiors, or modern apartment kitchen-dining zones. Its neutral black finish allows it to pair seamlessly with various flooring types, from light oak planks to polished concrete. Designers often specify this style for projects requiring a sophisticated, minimalist look that does not overwhelm a space. Search for this asset when planning open-plan living areas or small-scale hospitality venues where a round table configuration helps optimise flow and encourages intimate, social seating arrangements.
