Black Timber Three-Bay Bookshelf with Decorative Objects

This contemporary 3ds Max bookshelf features a black timber finish and comes pre-populated with a curated selection of decorative objects. Constructed as a three-bay open shelving unit, this piece offers a clean, architectural profile suitable for modern interiors. The frame is finished in a matte black, providing a high-contrast backdrop for the included collection of decorative bowls, vases, and storage boxes. Each bay is divided into four primary shelf levels, with subtle panel detailing on the vertical gables adding a touch of traditional refinement. The arrangement of accessories creates a lived-in, styled aesthetic, making the unit ready for immediate placement in a digital environment without needing additional manual styling or asset population.

The download is a 19.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is structured as a single assembly, with the decorative props grouped or layered separately for ease of selection. Users can toggle the visibility of the accessories to suit the specific requirements of their scene. The textures are applied using standard mapping, allowing for quick adjustments to the wood grain or finish if necessary. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base for precise placement against walls or within floor plans during the composition phase.

Ideal for residential living rooms, home studies, and executive office suites, this shelving unit serves as an effective focal point for interior visualisations. It pairs well with minimalist furniture arrangements where a dark, grounding element is required to balance lighter palettes. Architects and designers can utilise this set to add instant realism to residential project drafts or commercial lobby concepts, saving significant time on the tedious process of sourcing and arranging individual decorative props for high-end presentation renders.
