Contemporary Black Velvet Lounge Chair with Side Table

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge chair set features black velvet upholstery and a sleek metal frame, presented with a side table. This lounge chair set comprises an armchair and a compact cylindrical side table. The chair is characterised by a deep, curved backrest and a plush, upholstered seat finished in a dark black velvet. Its structural integrity is provided by an angular, geometric metal base that creates a distinct architectural profile. The accompanying side table echoes the dark aesthetic with a textured, cylindrical form, providing a balanced surface for small decorative items or beverages. The combination offers a cohesive, monochromatic look suitable for refined interior spaces where form and comfort are equally prioritised.

The download is a 66.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this set into a 3ds Max scene, import the model and check the pivot points to ensure correct placement on the floor plane. The assets are organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection and material adjustment. Use standard material editors to refine the velvet bump and reflection maps to suit your specific lighting environment. The model is scaled to real-world proportions, making it ready for standard scene assembly without extensive transformation, provided your project units are set to millimetres or centimetres.
