Contemporary Black Rattan Two-Door Cabinet Set

This contemporary SketchUp model features a two-piece cabinet set finished in matte black with intricate natural rattan webbing. This pair of freestanding storage units combines a clean, rectilinear black timber frame with decorative rattan webbing door panels. The design features a geometric motif, with upper arched sections and lower semi-circular panels integrated into the doors. The proportions are elegant, with the taller unit offering extra vertical storage capacity. The interplay between the dark, solid frame and the textured, light-toned rattan creates a high-contrast visual that suits modern interiors requiring functional yet aesthetic storage solutions.

The download is a 5.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate these cabinets into a SketchUp project, import the model as a component and position it against walls or as a standalone feature. The textures are mapped to the geometry, allowing for easy material adjustment or colour swaps within the materials tray. Utilize the native layering system to manage visibility, especially when populating large residential or commercial scenes. Ensure the model is scaled correctly against your interior floor plan to maintain accurate spatial proportions during the drafting and rendering stages of your design process.

These cabinets are ideal for residential living rooms, hallways, or sophisticated hotel lobbies where storage needs to be both functional and decorative. They pair well with minimalist or contemporary furniture arrangements, acting as a focal point for styling accessories like vases, candles, or framed artwork. Professionals often search for these pieces when designing high-end apartments or boutique retail spaces that require a touch of natural texture. They are particularly effective when placed in pairs to create symmetry in a formal dining or lounge area.
