About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max side table set features a black marble base, a brass top, and curated decorative accessories for interior styling. This side table features a distinctive tapered base crafted from black marble with prominent white veining, accented by a circular brass collar. The circular tabletop is finished in a polished brass tone, providing a reflective surface for the included decorative items. The set comprises a small vase containing deep blue artificial flowers, a stack of two books, and a minimalist abstract figurine seated on a white plinth. The composition balances heavy stone textures with metallic lustre, creating a refined aesthetic suitable for high-end residential or boutique hotel lounge areas.

The download is a 12.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for the easy separation of the table from the decorative accessories. Users can adjust the scale of the individual components or swap the decorative items to suit specific project requirements. The materials are set up with standard physical parameters, ensuring consistent results across different lighting environments. When merging into a larger scene, ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the table for precise placement on finished floor surfaces.

This side table set is ideal for populating luxury residential living rooms, master bedrooms, or hotel lobby vignettes. It serves as an effective focal point when placed adjacent to a sofa or armchair, providing a sophisticated surface for reading materials and small sculptural objects. Designers frequently search for these types of curated accent pieces to add realism and personality to architectural visualisations. Pair this set with neutral upholstery to highlight the contrast between the black marble base and the gold-toned metallic elements.
