About this asset

This modern Kitchen Island SketchUp model features a waterfall marble countertop and vertical wood panelling with two matching stools. This kitchen island unit presents a clean, contemporary aesthetic defined by its distinctive waterfall-edge marble countertop, which seamlessly wraps down the side panels. The base is clad in vertical timber slats, providing a warm natural contrast to the cool, veined stone surface. Accompanying the island are two minimalist stools featuring slim black metal frames and contrasting seat finishes—one in a light wood veneer and the other in a soft grey tone. The set also includes decorative tabletop accessories, such as a tray with glass vessels and a small floral arrangement, completing the composition.

The download is a 61.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement and orientation within a floor plan. Users can modify the material textures by navigating the materials tray to swap the marble or timber finishes to suit specific project palettes. The stools are separate components, enabling them to be positioned independently or removed entirely if the island is required as a standalone piece. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for efficient scene management and lighting control.

Ideal for open-plan residential kitchens, studio apartments, or compact hospitality breakout areas, this island serves as a functional breakfast bar or informal dining solution. It pairs effectively with modern cabinetry and neutral interior schemes, particularly in projects focusing on luxury minimalism or contemporary refinement. Designers may search for this asset when specifying kitchen furniture, breakfast counters, or social hubs for residential projects. Its balanced proportions make it suitable for both high-end kitchen visualisations and detailed interior design documentation packages.
