Contemporary Black Leather Tufted Sofa with Timber Frame

This contemporary 2-seater sofa in SketchUp features black tufted leather upholstery and a dark timber frame for a refined look. This 2-seater sofa features a classic button-tufted backrest and seat, upholstered in black leather. The frame is constructed from dark-stained timber, showcasing clean, angular lines in the armrests and legs that contrast with the soft, rounded forms of the tufted cushions. The piece is presented alongside a decorative timber screen with a central panel depicting a traditional landscape, which serves as a backdrop. The proportions are compact, suitable for smaller seating areas or as a secondary accent piece within a larger room composition, combining mid-century design cues with modern material finishes.

The download is an 11.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy selection and placement. Users should check the component axes to ensure correct alignment with floor planes. The leather material is mapped for standard rendering workflows, and the timber frame uses a clear wood texture. Scaling can be adjusted if required, though the model is intended to be used at its native scale. It is recommended to place this on a dedicated layer for better scene management during architectural modelling and visualisation tasks.

The sofa is well-suited for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or upscale office reception areas where a refined aesthetic is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist or mid-century interior design schemes, often placed against feature walls or in front of decorative screens. Professionals searching for a compact, characterful seating solution for high-end interior renders will find this asset useful. It integrates seamlessly into scenes requiring a sophisticated focal point, providing a balance of comfort and structural elegance in various project stages.
