About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa features a low-profile modular design in black leather, complete with a tufted finish and throw pillow. This low-profile, modular sofa is defined by its deep, expansive form and minimalist silhouette. The entire structure is upholstered in high-quality black leather, featuring a distinct tufted square pattern across the seating surface. The design includes wide, flat armless segments that allow for flexible configuration, paired with a singular backrest section. A contrasting tan-coloured square cushion and a draped dark throw blanket are included as part of the asset, adding texture and a lived-in aesthetic to the otherwise structured, clean-lined geometry of the piece.

The download is a 29.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming for easy selection and manipulation. Users can adjust the leather material properties via the material editor to suit specific lighting conditions or render engine requirements. The modular nature allows for quick duplication of segments to extend the sofa length as needed. Ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base for seamless placement on floor surfaces, and check the scale before integrating into larger interior scenes.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, expansive modern loft apartments, or upscale hotel lobby lounges, this sofa provides a sophisticated focal point. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables, area rugs, and statement floor lamps. Professionals searching for low-profile seating, modular lounge furniture, or contemporary black leather sofas for luxury interior visualisations will find this asset highly versatile. It is suitable for projects ranging from conceptual design stages to final high-fidelity architectural renders requiring refined, realistic furniture elements.
