Contemporary Black Leather and Walnut Wood Curved Bench

This contemporary curved bench in SketchUp features a black leather seat and walnut wood frame with an integrated side table element. This sculptural bench showcases a distinctive organic silhouette defined by its sweeping, curved seat upholstered in black leather. The frame is crafted from warm-toned walnut wood, featuring fluid, tapered legs and ergonomic armrests that transition seamlessly into the backrest. A unique design feature is the small, circular integrated side table surface that connects to the arm structure, providing a functional resting point for small items. The proportions are elegant and airy, balancing the solid leather seat with the delicate, articulated wood joinery that gives the piece its characteristic mid-century influenced contemporary aesthetic.

In SketchUp, this model is structured with clean, logical geometry suitable for efficient interior rendering. Users should manage the high-detail wood grain and leather textures using the native material editor, ensuring proper UV mapping for close-up shots. The component-based organization allows for easy scaling or material swapping to match specific project palettes. When placing this into a scene, verify that the soft shadows interact correctly with the curved geometry to maintain the intended depth and visual weight of the wood frame.
