About this asset

This traditional 3ds Max model of a Savonarola style chair features an X-frame structure and carved wood detailing with a leather seat. This traditional Savonarola chair, also known as an X-frame chair, is constructed from dark-stained wood with intricate carvings along the backrest and armrests. The design features a series of curved wooden slats that form the folding-style base and seat support. A dark leather cushion is fitted to the seat area, providing a contrast to the heavily textured timber frame. The armrests terminate in carved motifs, reflecting a classic, historical aesthetic. The proportions are compact, typical of this Renaissance-inspired seating form, making it a distinct piece for period-style interiors or curated decorative settings.
