About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater sofa is a 3ds Max model featuring a sleek black leather finish and a minimalist metal frame design. Characterised by clean lines and a low-profile silhouette, this 3-seater sofa offers a balanced aesthetic suitable for modern interiors. The piece features deep seat cushions and slightly padded back cushions, all upholstered in a smooth, dark black leather. The frame is supported by slim, cylindrical metal legs that provide a subtle industrial contrast to the plush seating. Its rectangular form and structured arms give it a refined, architectural presence, while the leather upholstery provides a durable and sophisticated texture. The overall proportions are designed to maintain a sense of openness within a living space.

The download is a 4.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed via a clean layer structure, allowing for efficient scene organisation. Users should check the material editor to adjust reflection and glossiness parameters on the leather surfaces to suit specific lighting environments. The geometry is optimised for standard architectural visualisation workflows, making it easy to merge into larger residential or commercial scenes. Proper pivot point alignment ensures quick placement against walls or within furniture arrangements, while texture maps can be easily scaled to maintain consistent leather grain density.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, modern apartment lounges, and executive office reception areas, this sofa serves as a versatile anchor piece. It pairs effectively with glass or metallic coffee tables and minimalist area rugs to complete a contemporary look. Design professionals frequently search for this type of clean-lined seating when specifying furniture for luxury hospitality projects, boutique retail showrooms, or professional home-office settings. Its understated design allows it to integrate seamlessly into a variety of interior schemes without overwhelming the surrounding architectural elements.
