Contemporary Black Lacquer Square Coffee Table with Pedestal Base

This contemporary black square coffee table, modelled for 3ds Max, features a sleek lacquer finish and a robust pedestal base. Defined by its clean lines and minimalist silhouette, this low-profile coffee table presents a square top with softened, rounded corners. The surface is finished in a deep matte black, providing a uniform and sophisticated aesthetic. Beneath the substantial tabletop sits a recessed, circular pedestal base, which creates a floating appearance and provides structural stability. The proportions are balanced for lounge environments, offering a wide, flat surface area suitable for supporting decorative objects or books. This piece is presented as a single unit, complete with a curated selection of tabletop accessories including a tray and glassware.

The download is a 1.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy selection and material management. Users should check the pivot point at the centre of the pedestal base to ensure seamless placement on floor planes. Applying custom reflection maps to the black surface will enhance the realism of the finish during rendering. The model is scaled for standard interior dimensions, allowing for quick integration into larger scene files without the need for significant geometric adjustments or complex re-mapping of the wood textures.
