Contemporary Black Glass and Walnut Coffee Table

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table set features a sleek black glass top supported by sculptural walnut-finished timber legs. This coffee table set showcases a refined interplay between a high-gloss black glass surface and organic timber supports. Each piece features a rectangular top with softened, rounded corners, creating a smooth silhouette that balances modern minimalism with warmth. The base consists of two substantial, curved wooden legs with a distinct walnut-toned wood grain finish, providing visual weight and structural interest. The proportions are low-slung, making these tables ideal for relaxed lounge settings. The set includes two variations, with one piece styled with a small stack of magazines to demonstrate scale and surface utility in a residential interior.

The download is a 15 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

For professional 3ds Max workflows, these assets are structured with separate material IDs for the glass tops and timber bases, allowing for easy texture customisation. The models are clean and ready for placement within a scene, with pivot points positioned at the base for straightforward floor-level alignment. Users can apply custom HDRI maps to the reflective glass surfaces to achieve realistic light interaction. The geometry is optimised for standard architectural rendering, ensuring efficient viewport navigation while maintaining high-quality detail for close-up camera angles.
