Contemporary Black Glass and Timber Dining Set

This contemporary 6-seater dining set for SketchUp features a black glass table and timber-framed chairs with white upholstered seats. This dining set comprises a rectangular table with a high-gloss black glass top supported by a solid timber frame. Accompanying the table are six chairs, each featuring curved timber backrests and armrests, paired with off-white upholstered seat cushions. The set is presented with a decorative branch-style pendant light overhead, which adds a sculptural element to the arrangement. The proportions are balanced for standard residential dining areas, with the chairs designed to slide neatly beneath the table edge. The combination of dark, reflective surfaces and warm natural timber creates a sophisticated aesthetic suitable for refined interiors.

The download is a 26.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 7 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this set into a SketchUp project, treat the table and chairs as a single component or group for easier placement. The materials are mapped for immediate rendering, but you may need to adjust the glass reflectivity settings depending on your preferred engine. Ensure the pendant light is positioned at the correct height relative to the table surface. Use the native layer manager to isolate the light fixture if you need to swap it out for a different lighting solution during the design development phase.
