About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp TV cabinet features a distinct black and yellow frame with integrated rattan-front storage compartments. This media console showcases a bold, contemporary aesthetic defined by its contrasting colour palette. The main carcass is finished in a deep black, while the outer edges and frame are highlighted in a soft yellow. Centrally, the unit features three horizontally stacked drawers with light timber fronts and simple circular pulls. Flanking these drawers are two elliptical storage sections covered with woven rattan mesh, suggesting a textured, breathable finish. The overall form is low-profile and rectangular, providing a stable foundation for media equipment or decorative objects in a modern living space.

The download is a 3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised with clear geometry for easy manipulation. Users can apply custom wood or paint textures to the faces to suit specific interior palettes. As a standalone component, it is straightforward to scale or snap to walls, and the individual drawer components can be adjusted if necessary. Ensure the model is placed on a flat surface layer, and consider adding local light sources to highlight the rattan texture during rendering processes.

Ideal for residential living rooms, this TV cabinet pairs well with minimalist or eclectic decor schemes. It functions effectively as a focal point in media rooms, entertainment areas, or casual lounge spaces where a touch of texture is required. Designers often look for such pieces when specifying furniture that bridges the gap between modern functionality and tactile, natural materials. It complements low-slung sofas and area rugs, making it a versatile addition to residential interior design projects at the final styling stage.
