About this asset

This contemporary altar scene for 3ds Max features a sleek black and wood cabinet, a glass display unit, and integrated wall decor. This structured altar assembly comprises a low-profile storage cabinet featuring four wood-veneered doors with a geometric central motif. The cabinet is framed by a tall, black vertical partition and an adjoining glass-enclosed display case containing potted cacti. Above the cabinet, a minimalist wall-mounted section incorporates horizontal timber slats and bamboo blinds, creating a layered, textured backdrop. The composition is finished with small decorative ritual objects placed on the cabinet surface. The contrast between the matte black frame and the warm wood grain provides a balanced, modern aesthetic suitable for refined interior spaces.

The download is a 21.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Use this 3ds Max scene by merging the entire assembly into your project file to maintain the correct spatial relationships between the cabinet, display case, and wall elements. The components are grouped for easy placement against a wall. Apply your preferred lighting setup to highlight the glass display and the material textures on the cabinet doors. Ensure the path to the texture maps is correctly re-linked in the asset tracker to preserve the wood grain and blind details upon loading.
