About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge chair features a striking black and white patterned fabric upholstery on a curved metal base. This low-profile lounge chair offers a bold aesthetic with its high-contrast, textured monochrome upholstery. It is supported by a sculptural base crafted from polished or brushed metal, which sweeps in a continuous curve beneath the seat. Its compact footprint and distinctive silhouette make it a strong focal point for modern interior layouts, combining comfort with a refined, artistic design sensibility.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured for efficient scene integration. Users should check the pivot point at the base to ensure accurate placement on floor surfaces. The fabric material uses a high-resolution texture map, which can be adjusted via the material editor to refine the scale of the pattern. The metal base is grouped as a separate element, allowing for easy material assignment or modification of the finish. Standard lighting setups will effectively highlight the metallic reflections of the base.

Designed for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, and executive suites, this chair functions as a statement piece in contemporary interiors. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables or as part of a curated reading nook. Professionals searching for bold accent seating or sculptural furniture will find this model suitable for luxury design projects. It is frequently employed in visualization renders where a strong graphic element is required to break up neutral colour palettes and provide visual interest in a room.
