Contemporary Black and Natural Wood Rattan Dining Chair Set

This contemporary SketchUp dining chair set features a distinct rattan backrest and seat, available in black and natural wood finishes. These dining chairs showcase a blend of traditional weaving techniques and modern structural design. The frame is constructed from timber, featuring slightly tapered legs that provide a stable base. The backrest is rounded with a prominent rattan cane-webbing insert, offering both visual texture and ergonomic support. The seat is similarly finished with a woven rattan surface, maintaining a consistent aesthetic throughout. The set includes two variations, one in a deep black stained finish and the other in a light natural wood tone, allowing for versatile interior styling and contrasting arrangements in a dining space.

The download is a 46.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are structured as individual components, making it straightforward to swap instances or adjust the material applications. Users can easily manage geometry by placing these chairs into a dedicated layer, ensuring the model remains lightweight during the design process. The textures for the rattan and wood finishes are mapped for quick rendering, and the components are scaled to standard dining heights, allowing for efficient placement around tables without the need for manual resizing or complex adjustments to the seat geometry.
