About this asset

This contemporary double bed for 3ds Max features an upholstered headboard and base, finished in a neutral beige fabric with leather accents. This contemporary double bed is defined by its clean, structured silhouette and soft palette. The headboard is split into two distinct, padded panels, providing a comfortable backrest. The base is fully upholstered, featuring subtle leather trim details at the corners that add a refined, tailored aesthetic. The set includes a comprehensive bedding arrangement, featuring a mix of grey and brown throw pillows and a draped blanket, creating a realistic, lived-in look. The proportions are balanced, making it suitable for a variety of master bedroom layouts where a sophisticated, neutral piece is required.

The download is a 56.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, place the bed as a single object within your bedroom layout. The model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection and material adjustment of the bedding versus the bed frame. Ensure the pivot point is set to the floor level for accurate placement. Use standard material editors to tweak the fabric textures if necessary, and consider applying a subtle displacement map to the bedding to enhance the depth of the textile folds during rendering.

This bed is ideal for high-end residential master bedrooms, luxury hotel suites, and boutique hospitality projects. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables and soft, ambient lighting to create a calm, cohesive sleeping environment. Professionals searching for a versatile double bed or an upholstered frame will find this asset useful for staging interior visuals. It works well in contemporary or transitional design schemes, providing a neutral foundation that adapts easily to various wall colours, flooring materials, and decorative accents throughout the design development stage.
