Contemporary Beige Fabric Wingback Armchair with Swivel Base

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a beige fabric wingback design with a dark grey accent cushion and a metal swivel base. This contemporary armchair features a distinctive wingback silhouette with soft, plush upholstery in a neutral beige tone. The design incorporates oversized, wrap-around side panels that create a cocoon-like seating experience, complemented by a contrast-coloured grey lumbar cushion. The exterior shell displays a textured, quilted pattern, providing visual depth against the smooth seat and backrest surfaces. It sits atop a slender, multi-pronged metal swivel base, which offers a sleek, minimalist contrast to the voluminous upholstered body. The overall proportions suggest a focus on comfort, making it a prominent piece for relaxed seating areas.

The download is a 69.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max asset, ensure the model is positioned at the origin point for easy manipulation. The swivel base is a separate component, allowing for rotation adjustments within the scene hierarchy. Users should verify the scale against standard seat heights to ensure proper alignment with other furniture. The materials are structured for standard rendering workflows, requiring simple mapping adjustments if the texture tiling is modified. Layers should be organised to separate the upholstery, cushion, and base components for easier material assignment.
