About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge chair features an organic, sculptural silhouette fully upholstered in a textured beige fabric. Defined by its fluid, continuous curves, this lounge chair presents a sculptural form that eliminates traditional legs in favour of a seamless, cantilevered profile. The seat and backrest are integrated into a single, flowing geometry, creating a low-slung, relaxed seating posture. The entire frame is wrapped in a high-quality, textured beige fabric that highlights the soft, rounded edges of the design. Its minimalist aesthetic relies on the interplay of shadow and light across its curved surfaces, making it an ideal focal point for modern interior spaces that prioritise both comfort and artistic expression.

The download is an 11.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can easily integrate this model into 3ds Max scenes by merging the file into existing project layers. The geometry is clean, allowing for straightforward material application or adjustment of the fabric tiling to suit specific render requirements. Pivot points are positioned for efficient placement on floor surfaces, and the model scales appropriately for standard lounge seating dimensions, ensuring compatibility with architectural interior visualisations and high-end residential design workflows.

This lounge chair is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or quiet reading nooks within professional offices. Its soft, organic shape complements minimalist and contemporary interiors, pairing effectively with low-profile coffee tables or textured area rugs. Designers often search for this type of statement piece when looking to add visual interest to a space without cluttering the floor plan. It is a versatile asset for staging luxury apartments or creating inviting, comfortable seating areas in hospitality environments.
