About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a sleek beige fabric upholstered bench with a minimalist metal frame and a throw. This bench showcases a clean, contemporary aesthetic defined by its slim, rectangular upholstered seat cushion in a neutral beige fabric. The frame is constructed from a metallic material, providing a refined contrast with the soft textile. The design features a continuous, open-base structure that maintains a light visual footprint. Included with the bench is a draped blue textured throw, adding a layer of depth and realism to the composition. The overall proportions are elongated, making it suitable for placement at the foot of a bed or within a narrow hallway setting.

The download is a 52.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy scene management. The upholstery and metal frame components are separated, allowing for straightforward material assignment or adjustment of reflection parameters. Users can easily append this asset into larger interior scenes, ensuring the pivot point is set to the floor for precise placement. The included throw object is a separate mesh, enabling users to toggle its visibility or reposition it to suit the specific requirements of their architectural visualisation.

Ideal for residential master bedrooms, this bench serves as an elegant accent piece for end-of-bed seating. It functions equally well in luxury hotel suites or boutique retail dressing areas where a sophisticated, low-profile seating solution is required. Professional interior designers often search for such pieces when layering textures in high-end projects, pairing this bench with matching soft furnishings or metallic accents. It integrates seamlessly into contemporary or minimalist design schemes, providing both functional seating and a decorative focal point for any interior space.
