About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa set features a beige fabric L-shaped sectional, a grey armchair, and two nested marble-topped coffee tables. The primary element is a modular L-shaped sectional upholstered in a neutral beige fabric, incorporating a built-in dark-toned side table for functional surface space. Accompanying this is a compact lounge chair with grey fabric upholstery and slender black metal legs. The centerpiece includes two coffee tables: one circular with a dark marble top and another rectangular with a matte finish, both supported by distinct metallic bases. A selection of scatter cushions in muted earth tones adds texture and depth to the seating arrangement, which is grounded by a large area rug.

The download is a 42.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised by object type, allowing for easy management of individual components. Users can adjust the fabric and metal materials via the material editor to match specific project lighting conditions. The assets are scaled to real-world dimensions, making them straightforward to merge into existing interior scenes. Ensure that the pivot points are correctly set for easy placement on floor planes, and consider using light-linking to highlight the metallic details of the table bases during final rendering.

This furniture grouping is ideal for high-end residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and executive lounge areas where a cohesive, modern aesthetic is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist wall treatments, timber floor finishes, and contemporary lighting fixtures. Architects and interior designers will find this set useful for quick visualization of open-plan living spaces, providing a balanced, ready-to-use arrangement that simplifies the process of furnishing large floor plates in both conceptual design and final presentation stages of a project.
