Contemporary Beige Fabric Curved Sofa with Wooden Base

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa features a sweeping curved form upholstered in a neutral beige fabric with a solid wood base. Defined by a soft, organic silhouette, this curved sofa provides a generous seating area suitable for expansive living spaces. The piece is upholstered in a textured beige fabric, complemented by a low-profile, circular-section wooden plinth base that grounds the design. Included with the asset are several decorative throw cushions in contrasting tones of sage green and dark brown, alongside a draped textile throw. The proportions are balanced, featuring a continuous backrest that flows seamlessly into the arm, creating a cohesive, fluid aesthetic that avoids sharp corners or rigid structural lines.

The download is a 63.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file into your master project file. Ensure the object is placed on a dedicated furniture layer to maintain scene organisation. The materials are pre-configured; however, users may need to re-link textures if the file path is broken upon insertion. Since this model includes soft goods like cushions and throws, verify the geometry density before populating a large interior scene to maintain optimal viewport performance during the final lighting and composition phase.

This curved sofa is ideal for high-end residential projects, such as large open-plan living rooms or luxury apartment lounges. Its soft, inviting geometry works well in commercial hospitality settings like hotel lobbies or boutique waiting areas. Designers looking for organic seating solutions often search for curved forms to break up linear architectural layouts. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables and circular rugs, providing a focal point that encourages social interaction in sophisticated, contemporary interior design schemes.
