About this asset

This contemporary beige fabric curved modular sofa for 3ds Max features a soft, rounded silhouette and integrated throw blanket. This contemporary curved modular sofa is defined by its sweeping, organic profile and soft, neutral-toned fabric upholstery. The design consists of two primary sections that form a gentle arc, providing a comfortable, semi-circular seating arrangement. The piece includes plush, matching scatter cushions that reinforce its relaxed aesthetic. A draped fabric throw, rendered with natural folds, is positioned over one side of the seat, adding a layer of realism and textural depth. The low-profile backrest and deep, continuous seat cushions create a cohesive, minimalist look suitable for modern interior design schemes.

The download is a 42.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, ensure the model is scaled correctly to your scene units before placement. The object consists of distinct modular components, allowing for easy selection and adjustment within the scene layers. Apply subdivision modifiers if closer camera angles are required to smooth the curved geometry of the upholstery. The fabric texture maps are UV-unwrapped to accommodate standard material assignments, and the draped throw can be moved or adjusted as needed to better integrate with your specific interior composition.

This sofa is ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, and upscale lounge areas where a statement piece is required. Its curved shape works well in open-plan spaces to define seating zones without blocking sightlines. Designers often pair this with a round coffee table or a circular rug to echo its soft geometry.
